The Old Stone House in Brooklyn, and BioBAT Art Space will host a listening session where the audience will remotely connect with Gilberto Esparza to engage in a listening session with BioSoNot, a hybrid bio-sound instrument that translates biological activity into sound as it cleans contaminated water samples.

During the listening session, we will see and hear BioSoNot generating music and noise from the biological activity of living microorganisms inhabiting different rivers in Mexico.

The 25 min listening session will followed by a live Q&A with the artist, who will be connecting from San Miguel de Allende, México.
